on September 15, 2014Well done with creating such a silky look on the water without a neutral density filter.

on September 14, 2014I am pretty certain that Judith doesn't have an ND filter. Jude, extra star for all your effort doing something very unfamiliar this week!

on September 14, 201410 seconds I think is usually good for creating a blurred effect in running water. But I think this creek was running quite slowly so a bit longer perhaps would have been better. I am guessing that you didn't have an ND filter? For a long exposure during the day that is quite useful tool for getting longer exposure times

on September 14, 2014Oops! The shutter speed is 10 seconds. This little creek is really low and the water was like a trickle. Is there a trick as to choosing the shutter speed?

on September 14, 2014I am happy with this shot. The shutter speed is 8 seconds. I am still struggling with knowing how long to set the shutter speed and what aperture to choose.. Every week I learn a bit more about my camera and that is rewarding.
