on September 1, 2014I'm kinda with Gerald, especially when I compare it to the other image you made - to me the path is what entices me into the scene and I don't know that the bush is interesting enough to deserve blocking the view ;-)
On other notes - I don't mind the highlight top left. In fact I think this blurring is a really great way to deal with the difficulty of taking photos in a forest on a bright day and the dark/light spots work well with the blurring.
One thing that bugs me a little though is the darkness of the clump of trees to the left of the track - I find the tones distracting and keep wondering why they are so black while the rest of the trees seem to have a more natural tone. Still, lovely image - but I prefer the other ;)

on September 1, 2014Gerald and I seem to disagree on this image! I like to bush in the foreground overlapping the path but Gerald doesn't. Thoughts!!
Also doesn't anyone find the highlight in the upper left distracting? Any other thoughts on the image would be appreciated!
