on March 31, 2014As I recall from the large patches of blueberry bushes last fall, a lot of the same thing can be a challenge to compose. I like this composition -- the clear floor gives my eye a resting place and leads me through the photo to the light (a door?). It also separates the larger saws to the immediate right of the pathway from the smaller ones lining the shelves.

on March 31, 2014Gerald and I visited a maple sugar camp which has a very large collection of chain saws. I am post this image to illustrate the challenge we gave ourselves to photograph something within this sea of chain saws
