on October 31, 2014A Zane Grey moment! I think the black and white makes it more effectice. Great shot.
Debbie Sinclair
on October 29, 2014very effective Ricky - the horse really stands out as being alone with so much space and the contrast in colours!
Adrian Zissos
on October 27, 2014Rather good ;-)
Seriously, what a beautiful image. My niece the horse lover is going to love this. What a great sense of openness and wild adventure (at least that is what I get, perhaps some others feel the horse is looking over at the cool-horses or is the last one waiting to get picked for the team)

on October 27, 2014Great image. So much space and nothing else around. Post process adds to the sense of loneliness; thanks for identifying treatment.

on October 24, 2014Nice composition and pictorial image, Ricky. The paint is perfect in this b + w landscape.

on October 24, 2014About half way between LaVeta (home) and our mountain property I spied this paint on the free range. I opted for this wet plate variation from Nik Collection Analog Efex Pro 2. The black and white treatment seemed to make the image more 'lonely' and timeless.
