on July 12, 2014This hammock hangs between two apple trees in my yard. I took the photo in early morning light. As I had to bend down and snap without a tripod it felt rather shakey!! I also wish the ropes in the front were more in focus. I also wish that I used it more often!!

on July 11, 2014I failed to mention that I think the tassels create a great rhythm in this as well.

on July 11, 2014Jude - My first inclination was wishing the near ropes were in focus - which is difficult. But then I think it would fight with the main bed of the hammock. The fact that the focus is perfect on the yellow cross bar - and that it goes completely across the photo (and at a good position in the image) make this work just great. Summertime it is - and I think I'll come over and take a nap right there! The one highlight on the foreground grass does catch my eye, but that could be easily resolved if you wished for it to not be there.
