on June 9, 2015I loved working in construction, mostly because I was the guy that demolished the buildings. I have to take down a building like this once and it took all day to get it done. Sometime the buildings don't require demolition and they can just take it apart little by little. http://www.prattcoexcavating.com/demolitions.html

on April 8, 2014Good feedback on the pano look. I'll give it a try and see how it turns out. I appreciate the critique.

on April 8, 2014I agree with Ricky and Adrian that cropping this image into a panoramic would simplify the image.
Another option could be to use the Nik software's - HDR Efex - Tone mapping. You should be able to retrieve details from your sky. Once completed, you may decide to crop out the items in the foreground.

on April 7, 2014Abandoned abandonment - that's good!
I agree with Ricky that a panoramic crop would simplify the image and put more focus on that incredible building.
Awesome photo - they're all so great this week

on April 7, 2014I like the massive amount of teal and the pop of orange on the pipe fittings.

on April 7, 2014I like the subject. I'm only curious... what if the camera swung down to get more of the clutter at the bottom - less sky. Or - what if this was cropped panorama to eliminate the clutter at the bottom and part of the sky. It's cool, and I'm glad it caught your attention. That teal blue is really engaging.

on April 7, 2014Captured this shot today while heading out to the farm for my weekly groceries. The area was fenced off so I couldn't quite get the angle I wanted. Seems as though they started demolition and then simply left the place as is. No equipment or dumpsters around just failing building.
