I had an awful time with this week's challenge. I first thought of the weather elements and hoped for a stormy day - perhaps with a nice rainbow. But no such luck. Then I thought of the periodic table and learned that heating solid iodine makes a lovely purple vapour so I went about acquiring the materials to create this cool shot. I found out that buying iodine in quantity is a sign of a meth-lab operation ;-) And worse, that the vapour is poisonous. Had to abandon that at the twelfth hour. So I submit this image which includes water and earth and unfortunately air where once was window. For the fourth and final element I was only able to come up with "fore" - so close to "fire"
Processed in ColorFx, with a strong Cross Process "recipe" - though I'm not really sure what that is
